Ranges near Swindon

I’ve just moved to the east of Swindon. Are there any rifle clubs or ranges within 30mins of here?

Can’t find anything other than clay grounds on google or hear.

Corinium near Kemble or Severnside by the severn bridge.
None as close as your 30 mins that I know of.
Corinium is silly money.
Severnside only 200 yards max.

If you can find a club that has access to military ranges, Otmoor is 40 miles from Swindon.

There's a real small one at Chippenham,good one at Witney,there's a pay and shoot place by a go cart place not far from Swindon....but truth be told,there ain't a lot in Swindon...

Our club shoots at Bisley once a month and two of our members live about 5 miles south of Marlborough, and drive to Bisley, and we even have one member that has just moved to Suffolk from Bucks and has stayed a member, and drives down from Suffolk/Norfolk borders to Bisley.

North Swindon here.

I am a member of Corinium. It is a private sporting rifle range and when you book it you book it for an hour and have the use of the range to yourself. Not sure if you are able to share bookings. So it does work out expensive but Paul the owner is a nice chap and a good person to deal with if you are looking to get into stalking etc.

I am also a member of WNSC which is a 50 min drive and a great club and facility.

Silverstone is about an hour away too and you can pay and play there.

Severnside is great and only an hour I have shot there on a Wednesday many a time.

Old Sarum springs to mind but never shot there.

What sort of shooting / club are you looking for?

Our club shoots at Bisley once a month and two of our members live about 5 miles south of Marlborough, and drive to Bisley, and we even have one member that has just moved to Suffolk from Bucks and has stayed a member, and drives down from Suffolk/Norfolk borders to Bisley.

we also shoot at Bisley once a month, we have members who come down from Derby, Kent and Somerset, and Wiltshire so not an impossible option
