Would that solve it? Unlikely.

Bisley was offered to London however they were told "too far away" whereas Coventry, Glasgow, Cardiff and Poole (from London you drive past Bisley) were obviously not! And they were willing to spend additional millions on the temporary locations with no long term benefit.

Not forgetting the rowing at Dorney Reach which isn't a million miles away from Bisley, and hardly a significant distance closer to London.

But we all know what this is about, and its not related to any of the lies and smoke screen excuses put out by the relevant organisations 8-)

Maybe the organisers watched some mag dumps on Youtube.

It's shooting. Sanctimonious bafoons don't like shooting. I hope more than India choose not to participate. All the reasoning in he world will never make a difference to anti-shooting extremists. It would be like trying to get a vegan to eat a rare sirloin....

But, beach volleyball.... I do like beach volleyball!

I wonder how much it'll cost to ship in the beach? Will they leave it there as a civic amenity?

Basically imaging a really big sandbox the size of a volleyball court, surrounded by seating. Not expensive. But, it’s not about money! Birmingham, the centre of the Empires gunmaking, no longer approve of guns and shooting!!! Everything else is smoke and mirrors.

Perhaps those gun related businesses still located in Birmingham may start to re-examine the benefits of their location....

Absolutely SIM, shooting dosent fit the current snowflake mentality.

They probably worked out they couldn't afford the additional councillors necessary for all the audience members suffering from stress and anxiety after witnessing shooting events.

I think it's being replaced with non gender specific tickle tag....

IMHO, I think this decision has more to do with India and to a lesser extent Australia dominating shooting in the Commonwealth Games. By removing shooting the organisers hope that there will be more medal opportunities for the host nation elsewhere and better publicity and interest overall.

I would say its more to do with anti shooting sentiment that any thing else.
