Going to be forced drastically to reduce my shooting.

Age, ill-health and injuries mean I must bite the bullet and reduce the arsenal significantly.

Has anyone in the forum done this and what was your approach?

Sorry to read that, depending on how much you have in your arsenal? If it's a few then keep what puts a smile on your face and you feel a connection to, you must have some you like more than others?

Sorry to hear that, I would suggest talking to club members and seeing if anyone wants first dibs. After that advertise them on here.

Cheers

Not for the reasons you stated however I did exactly that a few weeks back, I am down to one rifle and one shotgun.

It was predominately lack of range access that made me do it.

I sent them to auction, simply could not be bothered with the listing for sale and talking to potential buyers malarkey.

Did you get a comparative payout for your guns after all the auction fees etc were deducted, Christel ? Was it a specialist auction or a general one?

No idea as the auction has not been yet however I do have a reserve on them, if they do not sell ce la vie :)

Christel,

I would be most grateful to know which auction house you chose and if you are pleased with their conduct.

I probably will - but it's extremely difficult to press the keys!
