Long Range Handgun

#1 Post by Sim G »

Anyone have any information on Long Range Handgun shooting in the U.K.? The sort where they used a "chopped down rifle" and sit in what they call a "Flying Machine" (plywood rest and chair, knocked up in the garage....!!!)

My Google-Ninja skills are cr@p..... any one?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

It happens at Bisley occasionally and I've seen them do it on Stickledown (LINK) although they don't appear to have any comps organised. There may be clubs that shoot it there.
Maybe give them a call or email.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.
