I don't think it ever changed, just the version of the NRA .pdf they displayed wasn't right for the insurance they'd signed up to. The new insurance document they link to doesn't mention legal expenses apart from some 'club official' cover....

Was this supplied with your policy documents when you took it out? Or was is explicitly advertised as correct for the policy you purchased? I'm no legal expert but I would have thought that they would have to honour it if that was the case...
