Re: Police forces different enforcement
Considering there is a Lorraine Kelly Documentary on ITV about Dunblane and the subsequent ban airing this week leads me to believe this is someone looking for a story.

So the worst that he can do is upset part of the U.K. He's not intending to upset us all.![]()
Unless he's one of those people who confuses the U.K. with England.
Comment a bit Naïve, I have zero trust press asking questions relating to shooting sports

Do you have any channel/time details?450 Martini wrote:Considering there is a Lorraine Kelly Documentary on ITV about Dunblane and the subsequent ban airing this week leads me to believe this is someone looking for a story.
Hmmm, 'not available in your region'? ITV 9pm on Thursday 11th. Must be a Scottish only broadcast?

Not naive at all. I get thoroughly annoyed by folk saying England when they mean either the U.K. or Great Britain. I find it quite offensive. If you mean England say England but England is only a part of our great nation despite what the devolutionist nincompoops say.Mauserbill wrote:HelloChapuis wrote:Stop picking on lovemovies22 - he said he was only going to write about firearms in England.

I always thought Wales was the 'Great' bit
and the rest was just 'Britain'

Re: Police forces different enforcement
I saw the trailer for that program a few days ago, so I agree with your theory....too much of a coincidence given the 'new member' thread topics and tone.450 Martini wrote:Considering there is a Lorraine Kelly Documentary on ITV about Dunblane and the subsequent ban airing this week leads me to believe this is someone looking for a story.

Dignified silence.
The shooting organisations did little to defend pistol shooting. They didn't make a case against the hatred directed at pistol shooting and shooters. The media called us perverts and worse. It would be classed as a hate crime now.
Individuals did their best, but it was like peeing in the sea for what difference it made to the witch-hunt against us.
The national organisations like the NRA sat back and, in effect, pleaded guilty and awaited sentencing.
Regard
Peter.

I suspect that many will have read Sandra Uttley's book Dunblane Unburied, but if you have not it is a revealing volume well worth your time.
