Range bag

Hello all,
Looking for advice again. I want to get myself a range bag to keep ammunition in, gun oil etc. I've seen the 5.11 one but comes across quite expensive for what it is. What do yous use and what do you keep in it.

I've got the 5.11 one, I keep meaning to pick up another 1 or 2 bags at somepoint to keep kit for different disciplines in, right now I keep having to empty and refill depending on what I'm shooting.

I found fishing bags off ebay have much the same feature for much less cash, and no one at Bisley has commented on the fact my range bag has a picture of a fish on it.

A Stanley tool bag with shoulder strap and a zipped top. It has two window zipped pockets within the top - useful for pens, breech flags, and range book. Easily swallows a spotting scope, ammo, ear defenders, binoculars, cap, tools etc. About £28

I use fishing bags they are way cheaper and just as good.

I bought a 36L assault pack/day pack, in Flecktarn camo, off eBay for £30 and I can get everything I need in it.It is Molle so if more capacity is needed more pouches etc can be added.

I tried to save money by buying a non-5.11 patrol bag.

First one was the Tactical Jack. Loved the design, but the lining frayed and tore around the stiffeners; after a couple of seasons it was toast.
Second was a much tougher and bigger bag. It was just too big and heavy.
Finally got the 5.11 that I should have chosen from the start. By now it must have done 5 or 6 seasons of at-least weekly trips to the range fully loaded. There are no issues with it that I'm aware of. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

Not very helpful, but use a musette bag for my M1, large 44 pack for my enfield and an 1882 Haversack for my MH or 2 band muzzle loader.
Backed up with modern molle rucksack for tools, targets, and rest as it straps nicely to the outside.
The vehicle is never far away.
My friend has a tool box on wheels with lots of layers so has absolutely everything with him.

I use a WW2 era canvas RAF aircrew holdall which is a large webbing holdall that swallows everything I need to take for my Enfields and K98's.
