Shooting show
Anyone off the Birmingham in 2 week's? I went just as covid hit in 2020 was impressed...
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!
Re: Shooting show
Was discussing on the local Gun Shop earlier today as it happens......
£ 25 advanced ticket and then £ 12 advanced parking is a tad steep given the free parking at other NEC events and considerably lower on the day admission for other shows.
I do hope it is a good event, but I for one would not justify the cost when petrol etc included into the equation.
I would be most interested in hearing reviews - but £ 50 when all things considered is a fair whack.

Re: Shooting show
Far too expensive to see a load of (mostly) overpriced tat.

That parking is a rip off ... they even charge disabled driver £16/day!
I can get London to Birmingham NEC train for £17 return - arriving about 10:30 and returning at 18:00.

The Birmingham Arms fair is on the Sunday at the Motorcycle Museum. Much better content and value.

Re: Shooting show
I’m a new shooter and I’ve been the last two times and not been overly impressed. I can’t remember it being expensive but £37 seems like a rip off especially as it seems to be so centred around shotguns.
Re: Shooting show
It's not for me.
To be honest the only one I'm really interested in is the Target Shooting Show as it's geared more toward my interests.
I've considered Northern Shooting Show with mates purely to pick up a large Clay and Game order and would have gone if my force was also doing same day variations there, but they dont. It also seemed to be a little more widely catered for than the Birmingham effort.
