The other two make my K31 look a bit tame, I wish I had the skills to make the middle one

I generally like bullpups, but not that one. However, the middle stock is rather appealing. I wonder if an AICS system could also mount a K31 action?

Why not just get a native CG63?

I've tried: the last I tracked down in good condition was sold just a few hours before I could get my paws on it...

Target rifle, so you would be using open sights?
I wouldn't advise a Swede as it is a small ring action. The large ring on a 98 is far stronger for heavier loads.

Basally, on the small ring Mauser the thread on the barrel where it screws into the receiver is a smaller diameter than the large ring and is consequently weaker.
I've just bought a set of parts incl the barrel to fit a large ring Mauser. Currently in .308 it could easily become a 30-06. I got everything in the buy at the Trafalgar (except the receiver and I have one of those in hand).
