I am getting that as well. Anyone else?
Re: The move has started
Yes; I'm getting this for newer threads. Not all of them, for example this one works:ovenpaa wrote:Has anyone seen the messageThe requested topic does not exist.

Remember what I said would happen if you restore an incremental or differential backup into a database that had been modified since restoring the corresponding full back? This is just the kind of behaviour I would expect. Could that be the cause?

Re: The move has started
I had hoped that as I did a full copy of the 'old' FB to the new host that I could then add the phpBB3 backup which is only 16MB in size via the phpBB3 admin console, apparently not...
There is a fix for it:

Alternatively we run a full backup again tonight at say midnight and copy it over, then change the DNS and call that the cut off point.change includes/db/mssql_odbc.php:
Find:
Code: Select all
function sql_rowseek($rownum, $query_id = false)
replace with:
Code: Select all
function sql_rowseek($rownum, &$query_id)

Yes, I am seeing it now, but NOT on every thread. Some threads are fine and some not.
I agree with your 00:00 cut off - can you take the site down at midnight and back that up. Take the back up across, and install. Also change the old site headings to say - moved to 213.xxx.xxx.xxx ?

GLITCH
I have just tried the new site from my phone.
Access OK - but missing forums, as expected. Login and save password, fiine can now see forums including GOM.
Enter GOM and then select post - returned a new page stating:
The board requires you to be registered and logged in to view this forum.
but I was already logged in!
I did login and the thread was accessed, albeit with the The requested topic does not exist.
message.
