F-B(UK) Outstanding issues after migration

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

We spent last night knocking down outstanding issues (Christel did a lot of the hard work :good: )

We now have update notifications for new posts and PM's being sent out so if you are not receiving them and used to Pease check your junk mail/spam folder and white list/allow admin (at) full-bore.co.uk

We still need to resolve the ghost posts (Posts made by guests from 1970)

We are currently capped on the size of attachments we can upload by the hosting company, this looks to be 1MB right now

I assume people still have problems with logins not being held.

Anything else?

Good idea, Spud.

I have never used photobucket so I have no idea how it works but it has to be worth a try. Does this mean we will all have a shared username and password?

Do you have PhpmyAdmin to manage your database? - be easy to sort out your ghost posts if you do - just run a mysql query to Identify all posts form 1970 and then bin them ;)

Yes we do and yes we can delete them however what I would prefer to do is to have the posts reinstated as they were.

I am working on getting them reinstated by doing another migration, just a single folder migration. Problem right now is that our old server is dead in the water so I can't access it.
