That is a good looking setup, mucho jellyoso!
Are both you and your old man getting on well with the rifle?

Thanks Mike
Well my Dads not shot it yet but this weekend is the one! I'm just getting used to it but I'm getting a little better each time I go! Little adjustments to me and the rifle are key over time I think.
Re: Looking for a F-Class rifle
Just a quick question!
Now that my rifle is now set with rear rider and bag plus bipod will I have to hold it slightly different?
Do I shoot with it loosely in the shoulder so it recoils and slides on the mat or still shoot with it tight?
I'm shooting on Sunday at Bisley so want to do better than last time at 900yds and 600!!
Cheers

I would argue that it is personal choice, however the most important thing is to make sure that you are consistently shooting the rifle in the same position / way.
We see people lay down behind their rifle in all sorts of different ways and angles, and why not, we are all different sizes and shapes. But whatever you do, make sure that you always approach it the same way or you will get varying results.
Perhaps shooting a couple of strings in different positions would be a good indicator of what works best for you and your rifle.
One trick to highlight how the smallest change can move your fall of shot is to get someone to gently move your weak side (left if you are a right hander) heal from side to side whilst trying to keep your cross hairs on a far away target. You see many shooters shooting with their toe to the ground and heal in the air, unaware of what effects the wind is having on their shooting as it catches the foot,

I lay always with my legs out wide with my feet pointing outwards and seems comfortable for me and at a angle. I'll get someone to keep an eye on me while shooting but I dont know how tight I should grip it?
Cheers
Re: Looking for a F-Class rifle
Back from a morning shoot at Bisley! Should of worn the wetsuit!
The rear bag rider and bag worked very well thanks to David. The whole setup recoiled really well even being on the grass. The large feet on the bipod slid back and forth soaking up the movement well just a shame couldn't get a shoot in the afternoon.
Oh forgot to say how much flatter the 155gn HPS shoots at 900yds! Overall really pleased so now just got to used to it!

Evening all
Of to Bisley in the morning shooting 1000 and 900 yds. Still getting to grips with ammo and rifle at this distance and I know it could take a while! Weather is going to be good so if anyone's going come and say hello!
