SHOW US YOUR SPIKES TACTICAL RIFLES
Hi all,
I was quite taken with the GSG "show and tell", so I thought I would start a Spikes thread!
This my pride and joy, it's a Spikes ST-22, bought 3 years ago from NWCP. I have somewhat pimped it up with a few bits and bobs!
Carbine length ST-22
Trimney replacement trigger
CMMG Bolt hold open
CMMG Mags and follower kits
Fab Defense 4 rail For-end
Fab Defense T pod
Fab Defense folding pistol grip
and B square carry handle scope mount
Come on guys, get the cameras out! Cheers, John.

:goodjob: Very nice! Not sure i'd put a scope on the carry handle beause of the LOS/LOB difference but if it works for you

...that looks like a removable carry handle/sight unit ?Blackstuff wrote::goodjob: Very nice! Not sure i'd put a scope on the carry handle beause of the LOS/LOB difference but if it works for you
Re: SHOW US YOUR SPIKES TACTICAL RIFLES
Hi guys,
I don't find the LOS an issue over 25 yds, under that range I just throw stones instead
With regard to the carry handle, the ST-22 is based on the US Army M16 A4 with a flat top and removable carry handle.
Interestingly the USMC decided against the Carbine A4 and opted for the full length A3....Well I suppose they do have a history of accurate long range shooting, just look at President Kennedy's Dallas day trip!!
No offense to our American friends!
Cheers, John

Very nice guys! Either of you had non ammo related feed or extraction issues?

Isn't that more properly a question for a medical forum ? Bulima.com or Constipation.com perhaps ?Mike357 wrote:Very nice guys! Either of you had non ammo related feed or extraction issues?

A few 'stovepipes' over 000's of rounds but nothing you would class as a problem - happy to say that it's been extremely reliable.

Does Wayne stock Eotechs or did you source that yourself?

Re: SHOW US YOUR SPIKES TACTICAL RIFLES
Have you seen how cheap Eotechs and Aimpoints are on Ebay in the US? Many wont ship out of the US but that isn't a real barrier
