Firearms Instructors Insurance

#1 Post by Chuck »

One for our insurance people on here.

Anyone know where Insurance for Firearms Instructors can be obtained in the UK..The NRA cannot do it..Unlike the US bods where I buy it online.

Typical type of cover: Personal and 3rd party liability etc.

Speak to Broker as I'm sure a standard PL policy can be tailored to any occupation. If you struggle, speak to a Lloyd's broker, they'll insure anything.

That will be Commercial instruction Heather..and not clay targets. Tried the NRA (UK) who put me on to brokers and after some questions they went away to look...that was about 3 weeks ago now, maybe longer.

No set range facility in mind. All depends where business comes in...unless we make a deal with some range that is pretty central for the UK and has all the stuff we need...and is not too expensive.

You might need to submit the question again as the guys who were our main contacts have both resigned emrolleyes

We have a new lady in place but only just and she may not have access to the ex guys emails. Send an email to nra@bannermanrendell.com & copy to me - heather.webb@nra.org.uk - and you should get an answer.

Crikey, I have all my commercial insurance with them and the person that sorted it out also dealt with the NRA.
