He STILL has a one litre Vauxhall Corsa. Except it is now nowhere near as comfortable as a standard car. The mpg is crap. It is not as useable as he has to go everywhere by a route that avoids speed bumps. And he constantly sees people pointing and laughing.

Just saying......................
How is the mpg crap?
Because any aerodynamics it had have gone out the window due to crap bodykit and spoiler and the "bigbore" exhaust is doing nothing to aid scavenging plus its probably never been serviced and is running low tyre pressures!!!

The VZ looks very tacticool.......but give me some laminated wood and ironsights any day.
What he said.

Plus the wider tyres etc

Burris sight is still a little high even with the cheek riser and might have to re-think that. The red dot bracket had to be tapped on as it was a very tight fit. All the Fab Defense fitted really well.
Hey brother if it floats your boat then have fun with it. I've seen worse out there.

To paraphrase William Morris, "put nothing on your rifle that is neither beautiful nor useful"

I think you have managed to break that simple maxim in every way in my opinion.

Not sure on how to reply to some of the comments suffice to say that l will not be posting anything in the future. Do not understand how people l have never met can be so offensive however they dress it up with William Morris quotes or boy racer analogies. Shame as l found most on Fullbore to be supportive and helpful.

I wouldn't take it to heart mate, it's just folks having a bit of fun is all. Like I said earlier, if it floats your boat and your happy with it then that's all that matters. Seriously though don't let the comments get you down man, they can be a real bunch of p1$$ taking buggers on here at times, you just have to learn to roll with it bro and give back as good as you get.

Your opinion is wrong when compared with your quote.
Angled fore-grip; useful. Adjustable stock; useful. Scope and rail...
See where I'm going with this?
I'm surprised some of you lot haven't swapped your modern soulless car tyres for some nice lumps of wood.

I don't read my own signature!

I read this thread and must admit that though some of the comments seemed slightly offensive I took them all to be made in fun, I was going to ask why the butt stock was bent down

I don't think anyone here was actually being detrimental about your VZ, from what I've read on here VZ's are regarded as a well made piece of kit :good:

Yes, don't take it to heart - its all purely subjective.

I certainly meant to cause no offence - just a little banter. I have been on the receiving end with an ersatz cheekpiece on an AK

I am sure everybody here can look back at one of their rifles and wonder "why did I add that ?"

As to angled foregrips being useful - can you name one military issue rifle that comes with one as issued ? I mean a rifle with an angled forearm as opposed to an aftermarket add on ? Surely if they were of benefit, someone would have incorporated them into a rifle by now ?

You could say the Tavor has a AFG the way it is shot.

As for the op's rifle I like it but I think I would stick with the iron sights or mount the red dot scout style like you see on a lot of AK's in the USA.

Why would they have them as standard when it's easier to leave it to the user? Some prefer standard, others prefer AFG, some want full fore-grip, bipod, monopod etc.
Are you saying they're all wrong and you're right?
