VZ58 with Bits
Have now received all the bits for my VZ from every corner of the earth and have fitted accordingly. Burris sight is still a little high even with the cheek riser and might have to re-think that. The red dot bracket had to be tapped on as it was a very tight fit. All the Fab Defense fitted really well.

Re: VZ58 with Bits
I did warn you about the height of the red dot bracket ;-)
I had a similar problem fitting it as well, had to shave some of the metal off the bracket provided to get it on myself. I don't bother with it now and use the iron sight. I have some offset scope rings on order and I will fit a scope to the fore-rail, probably some form of MTC Viper.

Re: VZ58 with Bits
Some of the height loss is because of the stock tube rake and going back to an AR tube might raise it 10/15mm. The Burris AR range is particularily good because of their short eye relief and .223 recticle.
I will have a go and see how it pans.
It is my only longe range rifle now seeing as my Remington 700 is affected by the recall!
In answer to Demonic 69 l just sent the picture to my Android tablet and cropped it and then attached as normal.

You know when you see a boy racer in one litre Vauxhall Corsa and he has added wide ultra low profile tyres, a huge spoiler, go faster stripes, rally seats, tinted windows and very loud exhaust etc AND he has lowered the suspension.
He STILL has a one litre Vauxhall Corsa. Except it is now nowhere near as comfortable as a standard car. The mpg is crap. It is not as useable as he has to go everywhere by a route that avoids speed bumps. And he constantly sees people pointing and laughing.
Just saying......................

Because any aerodynamics it had have gone out the window due to crap bodykit and spoiler and the "bigbore" exhaust is doing nothing to aid scavenging plus its probably never been serviced and is running low tyre pressures!!!m7jnu wrote:How is the mpg crap?breacher wrote:You know when you see a boy racer in one litre Vauxhall Corsa and he has added wide ultra low profile tyres, a huge spoiler, go faster stripes, rally seats, tinted windows and very loud exhaust etc AND he has lowered the suspension.
