I'm pretty tempted by one myself at that price.. I'd order the glock mags in myself too. (before anyone asks, next export order isn't going in until early next year)

Nothing is wrong with the rails.. they do the job.. just personal preference really...

I have had a look at their rifle building website.
TBH I know bugger all about AR`s so wouldn't know if the add ons are worth it or even value for money.
Are the Glock mags modified in some way?
I still fancy one but not at 2k.

The AR parts are expensive from SGC. But then, every other retailer in the UK is expensive for Magpul parts. I won't post links, as this thread is not in the vendors section. Feel free to PM me if you want more info.

Anyway, the Glock mag version I think use standard mags (from what I have been told), the Uzi mag version had slight modifications to the mag as far as I know, but nothing beyond the scope of someone with a file.

Some women aren't classically good looking, but they have this strange beauty, it's a bit like this really. One of LanTac's rails would look nice on this.

I think I was just sick in my mouth a little... but whatever floats your boat! (never been a fan of that magpul stock... much prefer the UBR)

No idea on the Glock mags.. not considered it until a few minutes ago. I'll PM you, or post it in the V&I section when I have details..

Really? Good god man that is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen, and I know ugly, I own a MAS36!

Going back to my second question, do people have a preference over 9mm barrel length on these rifles?

For me Shorter is the preferred length.

I will only shoot out to 50 yards in competition so the minimum legal length is all I need. Anything more is just weight up front to wave around and affect my aim.
If you are looking at primarily using open sights then perhaps that extra between sights may be worth while for you.

Thanks that makes sense, sight radius is probably the biggest factor. Interestingly I've just found this which kind of confirms anything longer than 12.5" probably isn't worth worrying about. Well that's what I tell the missus anyway.
