If they're going to accept what you've written down they might as well accept what you say.
Exactly.
Similar to my club where I have to write down what I've used with serial number.
As I'm writing it I could put whatever I wanted every week who would know?

Is it really? Is that what they told you?
They couldn't have thought very highly of you if they did.
Why would a dishonest person be any more truthful if they wrote in a reloading log or usage log at a club?
Or why would an otherwise truthful shooter lie on is FAC but not anywhere else?
Nonsense.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.
Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.
The only gun for which I record ammunition usage / club / distance/ factory or reload / bullet weight for is my 9mm Lever Release.
Now recorded 1,657 rounds, mixture of factory & reloads..... and it's NOT blown up (remember those scare stories from a few years back?)..
One of my three clubs used to record ammunition when we handed in paper "gun use forms" after the shoot, but since we switched to online records they have stopped asking for the quantity of ammunition shot. So now all three clubs just want to know which gun I use on the range.
I did have a "odd" situation with one RFD last year when buying 9mm bullets heads.... he entered them on my FAC as he recommended showing that I was buying & using components for reloading.
I am allowed a 1,000 rounds of loaded 9mm..... probably have about 500 on hand at the moment..... reluctant to have another serious reloading session until we have a clearer picture of the outcome of the Consultation.

They weren't scare stories, at least 3 of them DID blow up!

Ahhh Ok.... but 3 out of how many? Other companies such as Sako and Tikka have had to recall rifles due to their barrels blowing up.
