Vepr 12 has a folding stock which is fixed in deployed position to achieve UK legal OAL.

A "stop" pinned to the stock rods to stop it collapsing ? You just need it to stop collapsing that last couple of inches ?

I wonder if any AKM with folding stock has had folding stock pinned to stop it folding and thus being too short ?

The Czech .22 with the folding wire stock ( permanently fixed ) comes to mind........
