Never really hidden the cost of my rifles or guitars from my wife, better she knows that I'm likely to spend the money on them early on than to hide it and have it cause arguments in the future...

And to be fair, her having her own FAC makes sure she's just as likely to want to buy something for herself!

I have a pact with my shooting friends that should I die, they don't let her sell my rifles for what she thinks I paid for them...

My wife knows I have numerous firearms but I don't think she has any idea of their value. If she asked, I would tell her but it never really comes up in conversation. I don't think she'd bothered either as I usually sell one to fund another so additional investment is usually negligible. Funnily enough I did mentally tot up the retail value of everything in my cabinets and I was quite surprised at the grand total.
