Do they search your bag to stop you buying water and snickers elsewhere?

I'm going as it's at the nec, anyone wearing more than a t shirt is going to fry alive in there..........I'm looking forwards to picking up some new stalking boots,a Beretta bisley jacket and to have a nose at some aimpoint red dots, fausti stall, and maybe I can pick up a no.4....we will see.....I'm going with an open mind..... if some stinking bearded Sandle wearing creepy collector cretin tries pushing in front of me like at the bisley trade show when I'm looking at something I shall very loudly tell him where to go...hopefully it won't attract that sort...
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!

I doubt you’ll get a No4, very little though of that sort of stuff at the shows I’ve been to.

I thought about it but will instead go again to the Northern. It’s more convenient for me but the clincher is that my issuing authority have a booth doing on the spot variations if you see anything shiny. I’ve taken advantage of the service both of the previous years, it works well.

I'm surprised more Northern forces don't send a contingent to do the same.

I laughed at the notion of Thames Valley Police doing this at a show. The first in the queue might *just* have an hour left to peruse the show if he or she had got there early.

Indeed, only dealer there that I can think might be there and have one for sale would be ITL, otherwise, as you say, not the show for shopping for old military rifles.

4 or 5 of us from our club are going, so its as much a social day out as anything, plus we all bash a few clays as well, so, its not a complete wash out for us.
