small update. forend done and foregrip, although still need to make a bracket for the grip. started on the bipod and still need to do the monopod, but getting there.

Very nice, looks like I was wrong about the cheek height. It looks like it'll be fine.

actually alan i think you were right mate. i can get behind it but at lowest level so pointless it being adjustable. will be skimming a bit off.

You might want to consider something like a pad as well. A bare ally surface will be a bit hard and cold.
you can get sheets of sticky neoprene which are ideal.

I think Ovenpaa may have some :cheers:

I use either 1,6mm or 2,4mm black closed cell foam and attach it with a double sided tape designed for car trim. Once on it is never coming off, it is comfortable, hard wearing and it looks good as well. You can get it die cut to size however there are minimum order quantities.

cheers guys. will look into that when im down to finishing touches. also i really like the look of bolt fluting, but is there any negatives to this, and is there anywhere in the u.k that offers this service.
