6.5x55 is a great cal! Throws the heavy high bc bullets fast enough to be on the heels of the 6.5x284

140 smk, 142 smk, 139 scenars, 140 amax's, 140 begers that's just a a few :)

Agreed, anything around the 140 grain mark will work exceedingly well. SMK's and Scenars are worth a look as they are quite cost effective and once batched can return some superb results.
