AIA No4

#1 Post by walesdave »

Hi All,

Just bought an AIA Lee Enfield No4 Clone in 7.62 x51.

Rifle looks almost new and was a decent price - it's the M10 B model and looks pretty identical to the No4 Mk1 that I can remember from my CCF days.

Only thing is.....there was only a single magazine supplied and no manual.

So the questions are:
a) does anyone know where I can get hold of reasonably priced M14 mags (10 or 20 round) as this is what the rifle uses
b) does anyone have an AIA No4 manual they could scan for me?

Cheers

If you do manage to find a source of reasonably priced M14 mags, please drop me a line & let me know 'cos I could always do with more.

Get it re-crowned (if its not already been done).

A few in my club bought one (me included) and a couple wouldn't group, no matter what they were fed. After chatting with someof the guys from Oz, we got them re-crowned and they immediately improved. So much that we got them all done (5 if i remember correctly).

We originally bought ours from Sabre Defence (Shady Defence).

He's certainly right about some of them not grouping.

I couldn't hit a barn door with mine - was nice looking but certainly not a shooter.

Sold it in the end, life is too short for inaccurate rifles.
