New Rifle, Rem 700

#1 Post by Buzz »

Picked up a Rem 700 sps Tactical yesterday in .223 clapclap and took it on it's first outing today, I had read some bad things about the stock being too flexible and touching the barrel especially with a bipod fitted which it does but I don't think it effects the accuracy or atleast I can't tell if it does.

Only put 30 rounds down but Shot a few .75" groups at 100 yds, not sure if that's about average for this rifle but I'm hopeing they will shrink with handloads and a bit more practice fingerscrossed

Here's a few picks, It will go nice with my 24" Tikka T3 Tactical bangbang

That is some good shooting out of the box and as you say, groups will probably shrink down a bit with some load development.
