Got a Cz452 Very impressed so far .. Very flat shooting compared to my .22lr .. Accurate and very effective.. The downside is it's a fair bit more expensive to feed than the .22
I've got moderator on it so noise wise it's about the same as moderated supersonic .22lr
Are you just target shooting with it? I ask because I have been less then impressed with it as a hunting round - fairly close in there's precious little left to eat after it hits.
Yup I will be using it for hunting .. So far only shot a couple of pigeon on the ground that were too far away for .22lr .. Good thing I didn't want to eat them !

What critters do you have in mind for it?

We don't have 'bunnies' locally, but we certainly have hare (jackrabbits) and I found nothing in the .17 that my .22WMR didn't do better. Just my 2-cents. :)
I've been shooting HMR on the bunnies for six or seven years. Big advantage is the increase in range coampared to the.22 - 120m is my longest. Regarding meat damage, all mine are for the pot, so they all get head-shot and there is no meat damage that way.
Lots of people talk phooey about it and it's "faulty ammunition" but my rabbit count keeps rising. Last time I took it to a range at 100m I started shooting the pins holding the target on the backer as V-bulling every shot got dull quickly.
Remember though if you get a pop not a bang, stop, wait and go through your clearance drill. Separate thread on this somewhere. If there is no bullet in the case then check your bore is clear.
