Winchester spares UK?

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

I need a magazine tube and spring for a Winchester 1894, does anyone know if they are available over here or of there is a UK importer for Winchester spares?

Alternatively has anyone come across 16,3mm/.642" seamless tube over here? Closest I can find is 16,0mm or 5/8"

Hi, Try http://homesteadparts.com/shopcart/120/ ... r_1894.htm. I have used them in the past and they ship to the UK.

Will the Uberti or Armi Sport parts from a '73 or '92 fit? Should be readily available from the importers.

You could give Aalco a try for seamless tube. John at the Norwich branch is pretty switched on when it comes to sourcing odd sizes.

The order was about 18 months ago. They were very good to deal with so worth giving them a try.

Homestead shipped to me a few weeks ago. Numrich have stopped despite having copies of my certificates. Brownells now has to be through their UK franchise and a lot of the stuff just gets knocked back after the orders are submitted.

The best source I've found so far has been US specific forums of eBay.com!

Magazine tube on my Uberti 1866 measures 16.32mm as against 16.31mm on my 1894.
