He describes it as semi-auto, but also says you have to squeeze the grip safety to return to bolt to battery for each shot.
Finnish military had a lever release rifle in the 30s.

I understood the 19mm /3/4" was the max but there are no ranges on which you can shoot due to energy levels . Even military ranges , if you could get permission are marginal. No doubt someone will tell me I'm wrong ;¬)))

My clubs .22Rimfire range would be OK wouldn't it?
Seriously I just thought it was interesting that someone effectively made a lever release style rifle 60 years before UK law made it required.
I sincerely doubt I could afford it, as I can't currently afford the new Rimfire Magic I want.

NUTS!!
There was one on the list at the auction the other week....

IF I'd known I could have asked for a one-for-one & had it on my FAC for part of my WW2 Finnish re-enactment sans any ammo entitlement: though the same auction had quite a few lots for both fired cases & a variety of live AT rounds.
Ho hum - off to choose a suitably large piggy bank for 50 weeks pocket change to get dumped into.

Nah - WAY cheaper from Finland & less paperwork/NO ITAR as it's an EU transfer NOT a foreign importation/export from the USA involving most of the alphabet agencies there (all with their hands out wanting an "admin. fee")!

Can one have joint ownership of firearms? How much are they in Finland? I can chip in £100 for a share.. (or 2-3 rounds of ammunition)
