Can anyone point me a single shot adapter the would fit in an AR15 magazine well?
I'd like to try some longer than mag length loads in Debs' Mossberg MVP, but you can't close the bolt on an empty mag.

Thanks very much, I'll hang on to see if someone has one taking up space first

What type of mags are you using? If they have anti-tilt followers you should still be able to close the bolt. Remember the amount of force required will be significantly greater than under normal operation as you also have to overcome the pressure of the magazine spring as well.

I don't think it will work due to the design of the bolt, it will try and pick up the round in the mag although I'm going to have a play to see if I can make something.
Thanks all.

I don't know whether it would work in an AR15 mag, but for my RPR PMAG, a section of 20mm (or thereabouts) plastic pipe cut to the same length as a round and then cut along it's length and fitted into the magazine works very well. http://65creedmoor.com/index.php?topic=4919.0
