My first ever renewal and another fab transaction.
Forms sent in with a few new requirements. Had a phone call to say my application had been received.
Phone call a few days ago to complete a telephone interview.
Job done. Certificate coming soon

There's certainly a new manager, Dave Orford, he's also Deputy Chief Constable and the national police chief’s council lead for Firearms and Explosive Licensing.

I'm thinking about asking for an interview with him to try and sort out the 11 year debacle around my sons sgc/fac applications and the complete bo...cks that the last head came out with during a 50min interview.

Im in Cleveland but quite a few of my members are licenced by Durham. Up to now I have had no issues dealing with them.

Sure I've just read recently BASC have been working with Durham to review their procedures. Must have worked!

From the problems I did have with them a few years ago, it's a complete turn around every time I deal with them. Variations takes less then a week. Hats off to them.

Sent my FAC and a form 201v in by 1st class recorded, they rang this morning to say they hadn't got it
Checked Royal Snail and it was delivered and signed for but nobody knows who signed or where it is
