How do y’all insure your guns at home
Anyone put their guns on their home insurance?

Most of mine are on my ordinary house insurance with the two most valuable separately itemized.

My NSRA membership covers them.

Just tell them what you have and value and they will cover them. If over a certain value may have to be listed seperately.

I am with Quotemehappy and have listed my rifles that are over the single claim limit. They don't have a problem at all despite a couple of them being high value (one is ~£7k). I think I did it through that Meerkat site, presumably (hopefully) they filter out people who don't insure gats. A previous insurance company told me that they would cancel my policy if I held firearms on the property.

That's harsh.
I've had firearms on home insurance policies before with no problems. I only made one claim (when I dropped a rifle and bent the scope).
These days I use the Endsleigh insurance provided by the NRA membership, although I have to say they were very vague when I phoned to ask how to increase the cover.

I only have one gun that is of greater value than the single claims amount so that one is separately listed on the insurance

+1 I had van insurance with NFU when I asked about insurance for my sporting equipment (firearms) they replied do not have cover for those type of equipment.. Van insurance now with another company.
Firearms covered by Hiscox... perfect.
