Form 201, renewal

#1 Post by ozone »

.

Just looked up online for the form and
I find an electronic version. It can be filled
out and printed or submitted electronically
if the local authority allows it.

Has anyone used this form?
It is on the dot gov site.

If you are on about the firearms renewal form then you should check your local Police areas website.
My local police force have a website on it you can access firearms licensing information and access PDF forms to download print off or fill in online and submit the forms to them electronically.
Anything to do with licensing, sales or transfers, variations I do it online. I have done for the past couple of years I thought everybody did it this way.

I just checked on the Government website and yes it is a PDF version of a renewal form. You can fill all the details in online save it to your desktop then email it as an attachment to your local licensing authority.
Job done easy peasy. It's a ten minute job.
If you have any issues speak to your Club Secretary he should be able to point you in the right direction.

Actually thinking about it it's not that easy peasy. You can fill it in online and print it off but you would have to post it or hand deliver it because your certificate needs to go with it if its a renewal.

Thank you, I have downloaded it and filled it out.

It works quite well and at least they will be able
to read my writing now.
:-)

Thanks

Just for information on the new forms application/renewal and variations from 31/12/17 the medical health part includes everything in your history, you cannot now put nothing new from last application
Make sure you read the notes at the back of the forms (best description is on the back of the application/renewal form)

This form looks identical to the electronic copy I obtained from Lancs Constab web site except that the request to read the guidance notes ius in red not blue. The electronic versions all carry a year date and version ref on top RH corner so it would probably be best to use a fresh dowload.

To me using the .gov one should not be a big deal. (after all they are supposed to be in charge - but let's not go there)

Just remembered that I read about all forces using the same form layout to reduce confusion shortly after the switch from 101 to 201 series in 2013 I think it was.
(NB you need 201V for a variation)
