Club On-Site Rifle Storage Fees Survey
Hi All,
Since I joined my club the price to store rifles in the clubs armoury has not changed. We're looking to make some changes to our armoury which will cost the club money, and as such I would like to propose to the committee that we increase the storage fees for members firearms to try and recoup the cost of renovations to the armoury over the next few years.
Ideally I'd like some numbers from other clubs as to what is charged for rifle storage as I believe what we are currently charging is not even on the scale of what other clubs charge.
RFD fee's for rifle storage again I expect would be higher still, but if anyone knows costs for RFD fee's so I could build a big picture of storage costs around the country that would be fab.
Thanks.

I'm charged £75 a year to store my 7.3 pistols, I don't store rifles there, so can't comment more.
as for RFD fee's, stored guns with my local friendly for 6 months while I moved and finalised stuff, cost me a bottle of nice whiskey.

When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns

Smallbore club..
Rifle cabinet £15 pa
Ammo Cabinet £7.50 pa (I think)
Fullbore.. No storage as it is an outside range

Thanks for the responses so far.
We're a small bore club and currently charge £10 pa per rifle, which is lower than the lowest end of the scale from the responses so far.

I don't use the facility, but our smallbore armoury fee is £25 pa per rifle.

A week? What are you storing, an Abrams?BamBam wrote:I pay £8 a week storage at RFD
Careful now/that sort of thing
Re: Club On-Site Rifle Storage Fees Survey
Smallbore club - £10/yr for locker in the armoury. Lockers hold 3 or 4 rifles, ammo, kit.
Way too cheap but like most smallbore clubs it’s heavily biased towards the members that joined 40 years ago and would be up in arms if it went up by 50p.

Re: Club On-Site Rifle Storage Fees Survey
This is new one on me apart from 7.3 I have never come across a club that rented storage of firearms. My clubs certainly don't provide that facility. How does that affect the terms of your firearms certificate if your secure storage is not at home.
