Well done Northants

#1 Post by 20series »

Big praise to Northants firearms team, Praise for FLO teams is often in short supply but credit where credits due this is proper service in my book.

I only work about 2 miles from their new office so I dropped in yesterday at 0900 with a 1 for 1 variation form having sold my Mosin and to replace with 308/7.62 x 51 slot, I'd also bought this week a .22 BSA.

They took a copy of my FAC and said keep the original saying we'll call when it's done and just come in to swap over which I thought was great in its self :good: , then this morning at 0900 they called me to say it was all done and ready for collection :o :o :o

I like kennyc are in the TVP area sent mine off on Tuesday next day delivery for a change of calibre on an existing slot so let’s see how long it takes to change a few numbers.....the race is on :run:

Same with the Met Police, no nipping into Empress State Building to hand deliver and they state within 8 weeks turnaround for variations, but they did mine in 4 days last week - very impressed :good: :good:

Hope that's a good sign that TVP have turned a corner and have sorted their rubbish waiting times around.

I'll be moving out of London within 12 months or so, and it's very likely I'll end up in TVP area, which is something I was dreading given their poor service of the past few years.
