Northern shooting show

#1 Post by 20series »

Who's going then?

Debs and I are going to drive up tomorrow and do a bit of sight seeing and then stopping over night in Leeds and going to the show on Sunday to see how good it is following last year's favourable reports.

The thing is, should one take the ticket knowing full well that there is very little spare funds available? :D

didn't see a great selection of reloading components today (unless you have an underlever), though there were a bell of a lot of telescopic sights.

A good show had a very enjoyable 4 hours mooching around
No matter how much you push the envelope,
it will always remain stationary.

Another good show, as the event continues to evolve.

Highs
Huge selection of equipment on view.
Plenty of opportunity to handle kit and try optics.
Crowd control was excellent, plenty of room to see and move around the stands.
Great to meet up with old friends.

Lows
Traffic outside of the venue, nearly two hours to move the last five miles on the A658.
Prices were ok, but not many stand out bargains.
Reloading was very poorly represented.

Well done to all involved. cheers
Gazza

Any Howa HCR's in .223?
Please say no as otherwise I will have to take the credit card and risk an extended Paddington bear hard stare when I get home. wtf
