Thinking negatively perhaps but I just hope that when this is released the press don't link shooting out of the boot of a car with the Washington sniper events of some years ago.
We all know how the press can turn or distort things and find something sinister where everything is perfectly innocent.

We did discuss this at the time and agreed that the overall image was very different (DC loonie shot out of a saloon car with a hole cut into the rear panel).

I seem to remember Jeremy Clarkson shooting an MP5 out the back of a Volvo XC90 a few years ago when they did that winter Olympics thing, it was very funny, particularly the tree falling in the background.

Anything that can promote shooting is always going to be a good thing.

The full-camo outfit probably won't help shooters at all. It will just reinforce the idea a lot of people here have that we are all raving loonie wannabees who just run around shooting things. :bad:

Yes, most ranges I shoot at have a 'one item of camo only' policy (i.e. you can wear camo trousers or a camo shirt but not both.)

Actually though if we are truthful, in rural NZ, polar fleece is pretty much a clothing world all its own, and quite a bit of it is camouflaged, so they really have trouble saying none at all. Most of us out here 'beyond the black stump' wear at least some every day.
