My FEO advised against sharing any pictures online, even in closed groups, as it would be frowned upon.

So, if I understand this correctly, one is not to post pictures of firearms, folks enjoying shooting events, etc, for concern that criminals/terror prone people might see them, and come steal one's weapons?
Wow!
These people that think this way, would have a heart attack, if they spent 5 minutes on our social media sites.
I just got back in from town, shopping at one of our large lumber box stores.
Standing in the check out line, got a tap on my shoulder, a local police office.
"Where did you get your small of the back leather holster you're wearing, that's nice!"
I had a Glock 357sig on today, casual Monday.:)LOL
"Want to see it?"
"Yep"
Out comes my Glock, stuck it under my armpit, off came the holster, which the officer put on, fitted his Glock in, and no one in line even gave us a second look! He threw his duty belt up on the soda cooler by the check out.
One older lady did ask, as we shuffled along in line, "where did you get it, that's a nice one.:)LOL
People look at situations really different around the world, that's for dang sure.

It do get warm here in the summer months.
We're over 5000 feet here, normal, one or two days over a hundred, this year set a record, 63 days over a hundred.
I stayed in the house or shop those days and let the Air Conditioning do its thing.
