Picked up my new 308 yesterday

Rem 700 blueptinted action
26inch border barrel
HK satin black duracoat
Tactical bolt knob
20 moa rail
All in AICS stock that has the new style skins (skins were unexpected bonous)

Very nice, it sounds like a very good combination and is a good looking rifle as well. Who was the rifle builder and have you decided on what you are going to put through it yet?

Ordered rifle from Chris @ wentworth shooting supplies
Barrel & blue print by border
Duracoat, bolt knob & rail by D Wylde

Sight is sightron 8x32 lrmoa in thirdeye tactical rings

Will work up a load with 155 SMK 2156,s at 2.85 mag length with Varget stating at 44 grn going up in .3 steps 5 rounds per step
also hope it can take a bit of mil surp 7.62 as well but will see on that

It is a good starting load and the rifle should work very nicely out past 1000 yards, do you plan to shoot F/TR with it?

Hope to have a go at F/TR with it. Will take it to 1000 at bisley and barton road and see how it goes, it should shoot better than the nut behind the butt can.
The new AICS and skis are different to the origional ones on my 223 and will not fit the older chassie with out cutting the area round the bolt handle. The new chassie does not have the square metal protrusion that the bolt handle goes in.
I can take better pics but do not know how to post them if som one could let me know what format the forum likes I will have a go.

Not sure what you mean by Skis.... Which club do you shoot with at Barton Road?

You can upload most picture formats, a couple of megs per picture will load OK, failing that mail them to me and I will resize and upload them for you.
