Personally I like your VZ but then mine has been tarted up similar to yours. If the OP or anyone else for that matter wants to dress up their rifle in a way that does not suit your taste why not just say not my cup of tea but fair play to you and have fun shooting it.

Hmmm, if l didn't know better it could be my range mat. Severnsiding tomorrow, what do you shoot the K22 at?

We knocked up some target stands and measured out 25 mards from the firing points.

Oh, and they were quickly phased out once the weapon moved from a civilian item to a military one.

Thats not the same thing as the AFG thats being debated.The Thompson one pictured is in the same vein as the Romanian PM md.65 (Romanian AKM) or the Hungarian AMD-65.
