My wife is so happy to see the back of me when I go shooting that she would probably pay for it . Then again a Mosin and some 7,62x54 or some 22 hardly break the bank in the UK . Going abroad also keeps my pistol shooting costs down.

This works for us too. My wife doesn't know what rifles and scopes cost but she is happy to see the big smile on my face when I come home with a top score.

Here's a tip that worked for me many years ago. During the week after our second child was born I bought my first PC. It was only a 286 with a 10MB hard drive and monochrome monitor but it cost me a grand :o . I brought it home, carried the boxes upstairs and set it up on a desk in our bedroom. It was two weeks before she noticed it and asked me what it was ... clapclap

Same here, monthly payment for mortgage, bills and food etc go into a joint account and we each have our own personal accounts. The other halfs account is for much the same, hair/nails/shoes/handbags etc etc.

As shooters we are part of a diverse community , and lets be honest , not only do we have to defend ourselves against the great unwashed anti-gun brigade , but also at times we have to defend ourselves against attacks from within .

So if some members of the shooting community find the need to relax with a quiet lady boy , or flagellate themselves with something prickly , or even worse commit a mortal sin by installing a muzzle brake on their shooting iron , lets just smile and be thankful that we can still indulge ourselves at times .

Surely a moderator should have turned up by now and insist on the correct terminology!

For "Lady Boy" should it not be "Pretendy Lady"?

Looks like Schools out the Children are out to play. This thread is not worth following any more.
