FAC applications are on hold at the moment due to Covid-19 as the FEOs aren't doing home visits.

GP fees range from nothing to lots (or a refusal to do it).
Thanks Racalman, I will enquire with my Drs too. I know applications are currently on hold but I'm just trying to get as organised as possible. Thanks!

Which police force?

As mentioned before - download a copy of the paper application to show all the information you will need. Get the answers sorted and ask if you have a question, then when applications are being accepted, you can fill out the form in minutes. You may/maynot require the GP letter and it may be worth enquiring of them about the timescales they work to - do not mention fees and see what information they volunteer.
